Paid online surveys have revealed the top 10 TV shows of all time – but what do you think? Here are the TV programmes we officially can’t get enough of.
Surveys For Money Show Which Shows We Love The Most
A recent online survey by Facebook page Rotten Tomatoes proves that TV is going from strength to strength. In many cases, the budgets are bigger than many Hollywood films, and traditional film stars are making the move from the big screen to the flat screen. It’s certainly true that TV has come a million miles from small black and white boxes in the homes of only the most wealthy – and that’s all in much less than a lifetime.
Nowadays, TV is big business. We stream it, we binge watch it and we catch up on it. The idea of missing a show is from a bygone era, we’re going out on a Saturday night meant compromising on your favorite shows. Now, we can have the best of both worlds. So, in our never-ending world of on-demand, which TV programmes rule them all?
We’ve all heard others speak about old programmes being the best, where big budgets didn’t blind us with big VFX bangs. And where scenes were almost theatrical in length, with live audiences, and watched only on the live broadcast.
Well, according to paid online surveys, it isn’t just the older TV shows which made the top 10. In fact, the majority of the top 3 top shows were made in the last five years. Is this an oversight? Perhaps. But we’re pleased our firm telly favorite still fitted in fabulously at number four. Aww.
